Black Hare Press

The previous year and a half, say from late 2024 through 2025 has been an amazing time for me. I finished seven new stories ranging from a dozen pages to epic novellas (well epic for me) coming in at eighty six pages.
The total of these seven stories, plus the three stories from earlier periods of creativity is three hundred and eighty five pages. That's a book! An anthology of stories.
Better yet, I've managed to sell four of these stories.
Make Believe
"Make Believe" - is a humorous piece about the battle of wills between a young film Director and a crusty film Producer sold to 'Breaking Into the Craft.com'. It's currently on line and available here:
Every Good Deed

"Every Good Deed" in which a butler who's more than he appears, gets into a pickle that may be more than he can handle, has sold to 'Murderous Ink Press'. It will be in their summer of 2026 anthology "Crimeucopia: New Kids in da Hood". This anthology features new and up-coming writers in crime fiction, which my story (and myself as an up and comer) definitely is. If you're a fan of crime and detective fiction, check out their offerings.
To The Sea, Return
My sea monster story "To The Sea, Return" has been sold to Adventures Bookzine / Offbeat Publishing. It will appear in their fall issue - November 2026. In this story a small commercial fishing boat snags a previously unknown creature from the ocean and tragedy ensues. I'm truly hopeful that people will enjoy this once it comes out.
The Little Ones
Which brings me to "The Little Ones". This is an older story of mine, which has finally found a home with Black Hare Press. This is a darkly tragic tale of love gone wrong and the dire consequence which follows. Black Hare Press selected this piece to be part of their Patreon Monthly Challenge and I couldn't be more proud. Look at the amazing image they used to illustrate the post announcing the story!

Black Hare Press are also very active on Facebook. Check out their page here:
I've enjoyed writing a variety of stories during this time. Some are first person, some are third. I've written in various genres and styles from soft and hard science fiction to folk tale style stories, all the way to gruesome horror pieces.
I'm looking forward to whatever may come in 2026 and beyond. Here's to more happy writing!
